I am Alexandra Aristera. I am an artist. I am a dancer. Everyday, I dance with particles of the universe, of life. I dance with rhythmic love, rhythmic compassion for myself and for others.
How do you feel?
I feel hopeful. I feel a wave of creative energy rising, rising from the ashes to help our world move into a realm of truth and love.
Why do you feel this way?
I feel it in my gut. I tune in to my body. My body speaks to me, not in words but rather in sensations. When I paint , those sensations transform into shapes. This is the magic I experience every time I am in front of a blank surface. At the end of a painting, a huge release happens. I cry, cry of compassion for myself, I cry of the beautiful exchange that just took part between my emotions and shapes. Thanks to my body, music, and energies, I am on a journey of self discovery. Every painting is a HINT of a fragment of my soul.
What are you here to teach me?
I am here to teach you to listen to your body, your emotions are real, your body is full of wisdom, ancient and actual. Your body wants to tell you stories not with words, but with shapes. What a magical dimension we enter . Once this path is walked on, you can never go back.
With Love and Gratitude,
Alexandra Aristera
Alexandra Aristera is ambidextrous and uses both hands while painting. Her bold strokes are echoes of her emotions taking shapes onto the surface. She always paints with music whilst dancing on the paper.
The dialogue below is a method she uses to get insights, using her dominant hand to ask questions and her non-dominant hand to reply to those questions. She intends to give workshops on the island where one can tap into their inner wisdom by using both hands.
